Exit Ten is making a belated debut under Rules and will be a big outsider. Though a winner three times over hurdles, Ashington is Flat bred and finished tailed off on his fencing bow at Southwell. Seven De Baune has already run four times over fences and isn’t progressing but Santana Plessis shouldn’t be ignored as he would almost certainly have needed the run in a Punchestown hurdle two weeks ago. CHAPMANSHYPE has been a terrific servant to connections, however, winning half of his 16 career starts. He wasn’t foot-perfect on his chasing bow at Fontwell but still stayed on too strongly for an odds-on favourite and will have learned plenty that day.
