In depth

Verdict

Mulligan's Pride,Bluecoat and Phantom Major look the three to concentrate on in this contest and the narrow vote is given to Bluecoat. The selection was a good second behind Tickers Way last time out. He is sure to have learnt from the experience and under similar conditions here he will be hard to beat. Mulligan's Pride rates the main danger on his debut fourth behind Malt De Verrgy. Her was unlucky in running on that occasion and will not be far away. Phantom Major is another worthy of respect on his debut third behind Linnbug Law but that form has since been let down and for that reason he is passed over on this occasion. Of the remainder Spa Wells is another that ran well on his debut and is sure to improve but in a race where the market may well tell all for the winner we return to Bluecoat.
