Factor Fifteen has been somewhat frustrating over hurdles so far but will not find many easier opportunities than this and is taken to open his account, with Mickey Croke and Knowhere rated the main dangers. The selection was useful on his day on the flat and made a promising start to his career over hurdles when giving Contraband a fright at Musselburgh. However, the son of Hector Protector has suffered defeat four more times since then, twice filling the runner-up spot and is proving expensive to follow. This looks a moderate contest though and the five-year-old should be too classy for his rivals. Recent Perth scorer Mickey Croke and course winner Northern Echo face no easy task giving 7lbs away to the selection and of more interest may be the Nigel Twiston-Davies-trained newcomer Knowhere, who has a jumps pedigree and hails from a stable in form. Charlie Mann's French import Loriko d'Airy is probably the pick of the remainder in a race that is taken to go to Factor Fifteen.
