Manballandall has started favourite in his last two starts but has been well beaten and is probably high enough in the weights. George Fernbeck won over 2m4f here last June but is 14lb higher and has been struggling over fences lately. Fourth Estate doesn't look the force of old while Knocklong has become disappointing but Quel Elite was still travelling well when unseating his rider at Carlisle last time in a race in which Solway Sam eventually finished sixth. HARTFORTH is a thorough stayer and did nothing wrong off his new mark when fourth at Kelso last time. He's won here in the past and can defy top weight.
