In depth

Verdict

Dolly Dancer is much better here than at other tracks but doesn’t win often enough. Breaking The Ice won five times last year but has not managed a victory in four previous visits here and has a lengthy absence to overcome. The going may not be soft enough for Without Conviction but it won’t bother CROAGH PATRICK, who made giant strides in the spring and gets 14lb, including his rider’s allowance, from Punxsutawney Phil with the top weight still having a bit to learn about jumping fences.
