In depth

Verdict

A large field goes to post for this maiden hurdle but on closer inspection not many can be given a serious chance of winning and the principals look to be Iron Warrior, You Do The Math and Arctic Lagoon and the confident vote is given to Iron Warrior. The selection was a good second behind Notaproblem last time out that represents strong form in the context of this race and he need only run up to that mark to win this. You Do The Math rates the main danger as he showed promise in a bumper and was a fair seventh on his hurdling debut. The step up in trip should suit and he should be noted in the market. Arctic Lagoon is another worthy of respect on his latest fourth behind Leapouges Lady but he may be seen to better effect in handicaps. Of the remainder Royal Artisan is from a shrewd yard and should be noted in the market but fore the winner we return to Iron Warrior.
