In depth

Verdict

Jackstown is penalised for April's victory at Towcester and will do well to get the better of GLENORA GALE on today's terms. The latter returned from a lengthy absence to finish a promising third at Aintree last month and Lucinda Russell's mare is fancied to get off the mark in this company. Powerful Ambition was sent off a well-backed favourite on his debut at Sedgefield but disappointed and better is expected from him, while the remainder look up against it unless Irish newcomer Supreme Island is better than her breeding suggests.
