There was plenty to like about the way that TEMPTING PARADISE won at Plumpton last time, he should appreciate the drop back in trip and the Evan Williams-trained gelding is taken to follow up with the main dangers looking to be Crofton Arch and Eborarry. The last mentioned lost no caste in defeat behind the in-form Golden Feather at Sedgefield last time and he has to be respected but Tim Easterby's gelding has only won once from 22 starts over fences and he may be best watched. James Lambe's Chukchi Country has plenty to find with Eborarry on running that day, while Reckless Venture has claims on the pick of his form but has failed to complete in his last two starts so is hard to back with confidence. Peter Bowen's runners have been in great form but his runner Harry May has yet to win from 19 career starts and a greater threat is likely to come from Crofton Arch, who was in the process of running a decent race until falling at the eighth at Cartmel last time. Tempting Paradise has plenty going for him though and he is preferred.
