Verdict
The best race of the evening with all respected. The top three in the weights will all benefit from the 7lb that is taken off each of their backs, of which Pas Trop Tard makes most appeal as a genuine and reliable conveyance sure to run his race. It's A Mans World enjoys a consistent profile over timber but his best hurdling form is on quicker ground whilst Granaruid may be in the hands of the handicapper having been raised 17lb for winning three of his last five starts. He was out of his depth last time. Trust Thomas is consistent but remains a maiden and Morning Time should have more to offer for Lucinda Russell. MOHAWK RIDGE is the choice though as he's taken really well to hurdles, loves this track, handles heavy ground and inhabits a fair mark for this handicap bow.
