MAGICAL LEGEND is the call ahead of Springfield Raki and Pontop. This horse was quite a useful summer performer for Liam Corcoran but appeared to suffer training troubles that stopped her from quite achieving her potential. If the ground stays decent, and she runs anywhere near her recent Cheltenham effort, she will take a decent horse to beat her. Springfield Raki is something of a Market Rasen specialist. He too has not been without problems but if Steve Gollings has got to the bottom of them, he could be a player. Pontop ran well earlier in the week behind Coastley and if that hasn't taken the edge off him, he has to be respected. Cash Man seems to like testing courses so don't rule him out as he has won here before. Heavenly Chorus and Mini Minster met here last month and the former came out on top. Mister Pete won't mind if any rain arrives before post time. Magical Legend can make class count in this competitive affair.
