Doitforjoe disappointed on a return visit to Southwell having opened his account at the Nottinghamshire track earlier but redeemed himself somewhat when second over a shorter trip at Wincanton. SOME KINDA LAMA may not have had much to beat in a maiden here at the start of the month but staying is clearly his game and he can run the finish out of these on his handicap debut. West Torr won over 2m4f at Ffos Las in June but then flopped at Worcester. Benenden was raised 5lb after winning at Southwell in June and couldn't cope at Carlisle and last month's Perth third Mighty Leader may also still be a few pounds too high.
