In depth

Verdict

Arthur Mac has a nice pedigree and looks the most interesting of the newcomers ahead of the £30,000 purchase Coastal Drift, who is Flat-bred. He's A Goer was third at Newcastle last month and that looks better form than Glentrool’s run at Plumpton but winning pointer Mr Washington should be a different proposition with a run at Warwick under his belt. WEST TO THE BRIDGE was just beaten on debut at Chepstow and didn’t get any cover in a Listed race at Ascot next time, though wasn’t beaten far. With a tongue-tie fitted for the first time, Dan Skelton’s charge can make it third-time lucky.
