Verdict

Sweet Spirit requires improvement but Spiritus Mundi has been getting closer. Always Able won at Stratford last spring but hasn’t raced since unplaced at Uttoxeter in June. PATIENT OWNER is eased further in grade after making his handicap debut at Bangor and might be the value against likely favourite Coronado Joe, who has been raised 7lb for winning at Fontwell. Bert Wilson’s latest run at Ffos Las was his best yet and he can’t be ignored.
