      Verdict

      The mare Cresswell Bramble receives all the allowances and led for a long way before fading over 2m3f at Stratford. She should make this a strong gallop which will suit GRAND LAHOU. A very rare performer over hurdles these days, he won a handicap chase here in January and can revert to the smaller obstacles on an 11lb lower mark and Tim Vaughan is taking advantage. Eastlake appeared to surprise everyone with his victory over the C&D in April as he drifted badly in the market but he's obviously improving though a penalty means he concedes weight all round.
