In depth

Verdict

Bob Run ran well on his debut and he gets the vote in this final race to go one better; Forrest Lemons and Delay's Expected look the obvious dangers. The selection is a nicely-bred gelding who was second behind Watching Football on his debut. The first two were miles clear on that occasion and with the winner running well over hurdles since; the feeling is that he is a winner waiting to happen. Forrest Lemons ran a decent race on debut at Hexham first time up and may find this track even more to his liking, whilst Delays Expected hails from a powerful yard who do well in this sphere and he seems to be improving with every start. Captain Crackers, a son of King's Theatre, cost 60,000 euros as a yearling and needs respect, whilst the market should help guide to the chance of Louise's Princess. An open contest, however Bob Run gets the confident vote.
