In depth

Verdict

SUPREMELY LUCKY suffered a slight overreach when beaten in a match last time at Hexham. That clearly wasn’t his form and he should recoup losses here with a clear round. Aaron Lad is a decent hurdler and won twice over the smaller obstacles last season but he was pulled up on his chasing bow, though should strip fitter today. Encounter A Giant also failed to complete on his debut under Rules but the winning pointer should have learned plenty from that run.
