Verdict
Royal Claret was successful off this mark over course and distance just under a year ago. She’s placed the last twice but was well beaten on both occasions. Dame du Soir is taking a huge step up in trip but she’s been in good form lately, winning at Chepstow and finishing third at Newbury next time. Legends Ryde was keeping on over 3m at Ludlow and Trump Lady tries her luck in handicaps having scored over 2m5f at Warwick. AURELIA OR (NAP) finished almost five lengths ahead of her at Ludlow previously, however, and is 5lb better off taking into account Ben Jones’ claim. The latter improved again to finish close up at Newbury and remains unexposed.
