Verdict

RENDL BEACH, twice a winning bumper and a maiden winner over timber under AP McCoy, attempted to run out under his inexperienced pilot at Chepstow and could never get back into the race. With the champion back on board he can get back on track. Jonjo O'Neill runs Irish point-to-point winner Atriptomilan, who isn't owned by JP McManus, which allows McCoy to choose his ride. Timesishard looks as though he needs a thorough test of stamina, which he should get here, but Next Sensation was well beaten when odds-on for a three-runner bumper at Hexham in June after scoring between the flags.
