Verdict

A poor race in which Terrible Tenant, Jarro and Game On look the most obvious players and we side with the first named. Seamus Mullins' charge is proven under today's conditions and has run well previously at the track. He does not rate as a bombproof selection but has all the ticks in the right boxes. Jarro was well backed ahead of his recent assignment but let his backers down once again. Better on a softer surface, his resolution in a finish is not the greatest. Game On is exposed as modest but has gone well fresh in the past. The market is examined for any signs of confidence. He's The Gaffer looked progressive during last autumn but two recent races have seen him pulled up. Butlers Run has shown very little in his starts thus far although his recent third at Worcester was at least a step in the right direction. No Way Back won over hurdles at Exeter but has struggled for form since. Lik Wood Power would be a factor on old form though that looks a distant memory. Uncle Max appears better with cut in the ground. Terrible Tenant is recommended to minimum stakes.
