Verdict

Duc De Beauchene needs further and the drying ground is not in his favour. Moonlighter is well treated but usually makes at least one serious error and has failed to complete in three of his last six outings. FINANCIER is only 2lb higher than when landing this 12 months ago and may have been aimed at the race again having only had two runs so far this term. Fanzio is hard to catch right but the going has turned in his favour so he looks a danger along with Prince Escalus, who beat a subsequent winner here in January and has only gone up 4lb.
