A wide open contest here and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Finzi, Waterberg and Follow The Flow and the vote is given to Finzi. The selection won in game fashion last time out when he got up on the line to defeat Special Conquest and although he has a penalty for that win, the step up in trip should suit and he looks the value bet in an open affair. Waterberg is well-weighted on his best form of a couple of seasons ago and ran as if about to hit form when third behind Victory Gunner last time. He is another that will like this longer distance and he should be noted in the market. Follow The Flow was a good second behind Lord Broadway last time and is another with place claims but he has yet to prove he stays this far. Charango Star is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he is hard to win with. Of the long shots, Auburn Spirit is the only horse that has won over course and distance before and is on a handy mark so could go well at a price while King of Gothland is from a yard that is beginning to find its form and is another with place claims but for the winner we return to Finzi who still looks ahead of the handicapper.
