Palouse, Calon Lan and Another Joker are three against the field in a competitive finale and the vote goes to the last named. The selection was a good second on his first run of the season behind Chevalier Boatyard and with this slightly longer trip sure to suit he will be hard to beat off the same mark here. Palouse rates the main danger he was a fair fourth behind Mr Nemo last time and that form has since been franked. However he is far from consistent so can not be backed with any confidence. Calon Lan is another that could go well he won well last time when defeating Dragon King but that was in a seller and this looks tougher. Of the remainder Ragdale Hall and Three Eagles have the ability to go close off these marks but have their own ideas about the game and a safer option looks like the selection Another Joker.
