Verdict

Not a strong contest with the disappointing Orangerie lumping top weight. Philip Hobbs' five-year-old looks to face a stiff task trying to give the weight to Columbus, who has filled the runner-up spot, the last twice he has been here. He can run off the same mark as when chasing home Coquelles here last month, where he looked as though he was in need of a longer trip, something he gets in this.
