In depth

Verdict

Gayebury’s second to Willoughby Court in a Grade 2 at Warwick is the stand-out form but he won’t be much of a price and has a penalty to carry in what is likely to be very testing ground. BOB MAHLER could be an each-way bet to nothing at the likely odds as he’s certain to improve on his third at Plumpton where he travelled strongly into the straight. Western Climate has been placed here and at Ludlow but will need more to break his duck. Corner Creek returns from a lengthy absence while Muffins For Tea ran poorly in a handicap at Exeter on his return to action, though should strip fitter today.
