Lauberhorn has gone backwards since finishing second at Ffos Las in May but there is probably more to come from Worcester winner Faith Jicaro while Union Saint won at Uttoxeter in July, though that was the first time he'd shown any form since arriving from France. FINCH FLYER has improved both on the Flat and over hurdles this summer and won nicely in this grade at Bangor last week. He may well be capable of defying the penalty as the three-year-old Choisirez races from 9lb out of the handicap.
