In depth

Verdict

A 7lb claimer reduces Nickelsonthedime’s welter burden and the top weight has a chance in a race like this. Shantou Sunset was pulled up when Jasmiwa won at Ffos Las in December and the latter also goes on the shortlist. Lily Glitters is back in the right grade and the only course and distance winner in the line-up while a step up in trip suited Sure Listen at Taunton but BEN BULBEN (NAP) is by Yeats and a half-brother to four winners. He’ll almost certainly enjoy this longer distance having made late headway last time at Exeter.
