Verdict
Royals And Rebels was successful the last time he raced in this grade and is only a pound higher in the weights. He must have some sort of chance but Abbeygrey has run poorly around here since second in a small field at Ludlow and Some Finish’s jumping has gone to pieces. What Larks’ strike-rate is off-putting but he stays all day so should be in the firing-line. GEORGINA JOY (NAP) has been placed over fences and won over hurdles here in November when only 2lb lower. Nigel Hawke’s mare looks the one to beat, though Eaton Miller found only one too good on his chasing bow at Huntingdon and has scope for further improvement.
