Sophie Leech's Konigsbote ran well in both starts last term but has yet to prove his effectiveness on a soft surface so looks best watched in a race taken to go to FOLIE DANCER, who gets the vote with Power Shared rated the best of the rest. The selection is less exposed than his rivals after just four career starts and looks well treated for his debut in a handicap on his reappearance having shown a decent level of form when landing a novices' hurdle on testing ground at Haydock in December 2007. Nawamees has his first outing over hurdles since July but does come here fit from the flat but he has not won for some time and may be booked for a place at best, while Jonjo O'Neill's Autumn Harvest was well held on his first start in the UK last month and is hard to back with confidence. Charlie Longsdon's Maurisca has had the three starts over hurdles to qualify for a handicap mark but looks a shade high in the weights for what he has achieved. Peter Bowen's Mayor Of Kilcock has been well held in both starts in handicaps this term, while Kim Bailey's Towcester winner Ruby Crown is seemingly better on faster ground. Pat Murphy's Power Shared has dropped to a fair mark and has to be respected but preference is for the lightly raced Folie Dancer, who can make a winning return.
