Gauvain's last success came when he beat Somersby in the Peterborough Chase at Huntingdon two years ago but he's been nowhere near that kind of form recently, though at a higher grade than this. Top-class hunter BABY RUN hasn't been seen since a tremendous effort in the Becher at Aintree last December and though he'll be fourteen years old on Wednesday he has the class to see off these veterans.
