    Verdict

    Electric Qatar made a promising start when third at Newcastle, but West Leake Diman and Ralphy Boy did even better when making winning debuts over 5f at this track and Carlisle respectively. However, all three face a stiff task today with the two principals looking a cut above average. A winner at Windsor previously, it was slow ground by the time Silverheels ran in the Norfolk Stakes at Ascot and, despite being sent off favourite, he was well beaten. Better is expected here but the vote goes to Ascot's Windsor Castle runner-up STONEFIELD FLYER, who goes from strength-to-strength and should appreciate this extra furlong.
