A field large in numbers but low in quality goes to post for the finale and the principals look to be Manoubi, Five Pence and Jodante and the confident vote goes to Manoubi. The four year old was rated 96 on the flat when with Sir Michael Stoute. He is sure to have been well schooled for this his hurdling debut and he will not need to be anything special to win this on his debut. Five Pence rates the main danger on his latest second behind Guarded Secret however that was over two miles and he is unproven over this longer trip. Jodante showed improved form to be second behind Samby last time but he looked very one paced and he may be seen to better effect over a longer trip. Of the remainder Glengarra showed a modicum of ability in a better race on his debut and is sure to improve so he is worth a cautionary look in the market. However we are happy to side with Manoubi.
