NonRunner

In depth

Verdict

KINGMAX was no match for the impressive winner when second at Newbury on his debut. But he’ll have come on for the experience and gets the vote. Sharp Riposte finished third of only six runners at Nottingham but that looks stronger form than Smooth Talking’s third at Brighton. Jockey bookings suggest Mount Snowdon is preferred to stablemate Tacarib Bay but Mot And The Messer has a speedy pedigree and makes most appeal of the newcomers.
