Santo Padre has been a good servant to David Marnane and was a good third in a Group 3 over 6f at The Curragh last week. He has plenty of form over this shorter trip and obviously hasn't been sent across the Irish Sea for the good of his health but may find NOBLE STORM has too much speed for him on this relatively fast surface. Ed McMahon's gelding won a handicap at Newbury before only going down by a head in a conditions event at Ascot earlier this month when conceding weight all round. Mister Manannan has already won twice at this level but has his first start since an unsuccessful campaign at Meydan over the winter.
