Gale Force Maya has been a fine servant for Michael Dods and is expected to go well despite being below par on reappearance but GET AHEAD is a viable alternative. Clive Cox’s filly was far from disgraced last time when beaten four lengths into sixth spot in the Group 3 Palace House Stakes and was previously a good third behind Happy Romance in a hot Listed affair. Aramis Grey is a consistent filly but 30 of her 37 starts have been on the all-weather and Makarova makes greater appeal after a pleasing first run back last time at Listed level.
