An outing in the Lincoln clearly benefited Gabrial's Kaka as he won the Spring Cup at Newbury in good style a fortnight ago. But both Sweet Lightning and FOXTROT ROMEO re-oppose on better terms with preference for the latter. Marco Botti's charge has slipped down to a tempting mark and should be a lot sharper today. Brae Hill won the Spring Mile at Doncaster on his return beating Youartisonfire, Tellovoi and Postscript while The Rectifier had Don't Call Me back in second when picking up a competitive handicap at Kempton in February. Robert The Painter followed a decent third in the Lincoln with victory in soft ground at Nottingham and Ryan Moore partners the progressive Ingleby Angel for the latter's seasonal debut.
