Primogeniture failed to cope with a 6lb penalty last time having won at Ripon before that and Showboating is now 12lb higher than when scoring at Southwell in July. Manchestar is not the most reliable but capable of figuring on his day and the veteran Silver Rime ran well off today's mark at Carlisle last time. GEORGE CINQ also gave a good account when third over 7f here three weeks ago. Given Michael Bell's charge has won over this longer trip twice before, he gets the nod ahead of the returning Mitchum Swagger, who made a winning start at Newbury back in May but has not raced since.
