AWE finished clear of the rest when runner-up at Ascot on his handicap debut and seasonal reappearance so the Haggas colt may prove good enough in a wide-open affair. The progressive Oasis Prince is upped in class but still looks best of Mark Johnston’s four runners and Masaru is preferred of the Hannon trio having won at Sandown last time. Aweedram is another upped in class bidding for a hat-trick but Listed winner Duke Of Hazzard makes his handicap debut and wasn’t disgraced in the French 2000 Guineas earlier this month. Loch Ness Monster wasn’t beaten far by Oasis Prince here recently while headgear is applied to Beatboxer on his second start after wind surgery having struggled on his return.
