CHOSEN CHARACTER (NAP) bids to repeat last year’s success in this and has every chance of doing so with an apprentice taking 7lb off his back today. He just missed out when beaten only a head here on his return to action. Sante ran well at Doncaster on her reappearance considering she took a big hike in the weights for last year’s win at Chepstow but Captain Courageous disappointed under a penalty last time having won over 1m2f here earlier and is upped a further 4lb.
