Verdict

Donald McCain has some good chances today and CLONDAW KAEMPFER is certainly amongst them. A winning bumper in Ireland, he made a very impressive debut over timber at Aintree last month and it will take a big performance to lower his colours. Lienosus won twice between the flags and is considered good enough to have made his debut under Rules in a Grade 2 at Chepstow where he performed with real credit. That should have brought him on and he looks the main danger though Landscape, a winner on the Flat in France, was a convincing winner on only his second start for Paul Nicholls at Exeter a couple of weeks ago. The remaining trio will need major progress to trouble the principals.
