        Verdict

        Plenty with a shout in this including Midnight Malibu, who went close in a tougher contest at Nottingham recently. Bellevarde is on a roll but is upped in class bidding for a treble while Mythical Spirit’s attempt at hat-trick came unstuck when finding one too good at Carlisle. Economic Crisis scored at Ayr earlier in the week but has done all her winning so far at Scottish tracks and ISLAND OF LIFE was having only her second start handicapping when winning at Sandown a week ago. The Haggas filly has the most scope of these and can go in again, despite a 4lb rise.
