In depth

Verdict

Bellaboosh only found one too good when made favourite on her debut at Uttoxeter last May. She'll have learned from that but her absence since is off-putting. Robert Thornton obviously thinks Genstone Trail will confirm Ffos Las running with stablemate Astralogical, though the merit of that form is debatable, while Emma Lavelle also saddles two. Elegant Touch won over C&D in November and Kentford Grey Lady has a decent pedigree. But so does fellow newcomer BALLYQUIN QUEEN, who is by leading NH sire King's Theatre and closely related to a number of decent jumpers - Philip Hobbs will have made sure she knows her job.
