In depth

Verdict

Alnadam is useful but has produced his best form going right-handed, especially around Sandown, on pretty testing ground. Itchy Feet has already landed a Grade 1 when taking the Scilly Isles Chase and ran a fine reappearance race when a length second to Allmankind in the Old Roan at Aintree. He sets a good standard over fences but BRAVEMANSGAME was immensely impressive on chasing debut when easily outpointing subsequent Charlie Hall Chase winner, Fusil Raffles, and looks the sort to stick with until beaten, although this is a demanding question for him to answer after just that sole chasing start. Pay The Piper is developing into a really good sort for Ann Hamilton and is not discounted despite facing a tough task.
