      Verdict

      NEWERA is clearly heading in the right direction and the recent course and distance winner can shrug off a further 9lb rise in the weights to complete his hat-trick. Swift Cedar won over track and trip last month but that was on a slow surface. He's been beaten twice, including in a claimer at Leicester two days ago. Sacred Square has his first run on the Flat since August but Ninety Minutes has been busy, though is still seeking a first victory on Turf. Bnedel has only had the three runs so should have more to offer, though shaped as though a longer trip would suit when fourth at Leicester.
