Paul Midgley has enjoyed particular success with his sprinters of late and FROSTY BERRY could secure him a rare victory over middle distances in the finale. The five-year-old is already onto his fourth trainer, but he won well for his current handler at Newcastle in April and with plenty of pace in this field, his stamina could well come into play. Nubar Boy seldom hangs around and Ian Williams' front-runner will set some stiff fractions for the others to aim at. Equitable has yet to recapture the brilliance of her debut on Lingfield's Polytrack while Artful Prince came to hand at this time of the season last year, but he'll need to start a winning run from a significantly higher mark. Kudu Country is no stranger to Haydock Park and Tom Tate's eight-year-old is feasibly weighted at present.
