Madrasa finished a well beaten second of three on his return to action over C&D last month but should give a good account here nonetheless, while Star Alliance will have benefited for his comeback run at Goodwood. Al Khawaneej is bred for middle-distances and is worth noting, as is fellow newcomer Rishikesh, a half-brother to dual Oaks heroine Sariska, but MIDSUMMER SUN looks the one to beat. He's also a half-brother to a brilliant filly in Midday and looks capable of getting off the mark over this longer trip after a respectable fifth to a subsequent Listed winner at Newmarket on his debut.
