In depth

Verdict

Mulcahys Hill should have benefited from a run at Sandown but has nine lengths to find with Mr Harp. Poker Play warrants a mention after a second at Ffos Las but Hear No Evil was tailed off reverting to hurdles at Punchestown. Ratfacemcdougall weakened quickly once headed at Lingfield but will strip fitter today. WELSH SAINT finished fifth in that race, however, and only gave way approaching the last. The latter needs to brush up his jumping but won over track and trip last year on heavy going and is 6lb lower now. Jesuitique arrives in good form and Ballymillsy also has strong claims eased in grade but Sultans Pride has gone up 5lb for scoring at Kelso.
