Verdict

MEMORIAL DAY found subsequent handicap winner Rifle Range too good over track and trip last time but finished well clear of the rest. Saeed Bin Suroor's charge looks up to winning this. Erik The Red also went close on his latest start at Beverley and is not out of this while Arabian Illusion faded into third having at one point led on his debut at Kempton. A couple of these were formerly with John Oxx in Ireland. Brilliant Toy ran well at Bellewstown last time while Pivotique makes his seasonal debut for Luca Cumani. Tartoor is a newcomer to note.
