Trouble Mountain gets the vote in this handicap with Gallego and Ruby Legend put forward as the main dangers. The selection has been in really good form this summer and he ran another sound race in defeat at Newcastle last time when third behind Active Asset. He has ground conditions to suit and this course and distance winner gets our nomination to lead them home. Gallego won well at Nottingham last time when beating Bright Sun and a case could also be made for him here. He needs a strong pace to be seen at his best and if the gaps appear for this hold-up performer he will not be far away at the finish. Ruby Legend hasn't won a race since 2003 but he wasn't beaten all that far last time at Ayr and the blinkers which were on that day are on again here and he is one to note in the market. Peters Delite got left at the start at Beverley last time when the blindfold was left on, so in the circumstances he did well to finish only 3L behind Our Teddy. He is another to consider but for the winner we will stick with the game and consistent Trouble Mountain.
