Imphal beat Acey Milan at Wincanton in January but was well below that form last time at Doncaster in a race won by Sultans Pride. Kaizer beat the latter by more than six lengths at Kelso last month while Steinkraus was allowed to start at generous odds when scoring at Newcastle four weeks ago. Gazette Bourgeoise stays well and had subsequent winner Go Chique behind at Hereford in January but was a well-beaten fourth in a mares’ handicap at Cheltenham on Thursday. Sirobbie has been in decent form but all five career victories to date have come at Uttoxeter. AN TAILLUR has been absent since beaten by Marie’s Rock at Kempton on Boxing Day but the latter won a Grade 1 at Cheltenham last month so the form holds up. Jonjo O’Neill’s grey goes beyond 3m for the first time but shouldn’t be far away if he stays.
