MAGIC WARRIOR struggled over a mile earlier but produced a strong finish when runner-up over 6f at Nottingham recently. Today’s intermediate distance may prove ideal and Ryan Moore takes over the reins. He’s preferred to Superior Force and The Dunkirk Lads but several are open to improvement handicapping for the first time. That Dukedom, who drops down from a mile representing the Gosden yard while Amor Vincit Omnia was beaten less than a length when fourth over 6f here.
